The 21st Century American Revolution - Step #1

It may surprise you that the first step of the 21st Century American Revolution is to do nothing, but it is true.

Here’s what I mean.

The primary elections are upon us and the Democrats and Republicans want you to show up at the polls and cast your vote for the candidate who will be on the ballot in the General Election this November.

If you believe, as millions of Americans do, that these two parties no longer represent your interests, then DO NOT VOTE IN THE PRIMARIES!

I say this for two reasons:

1.  It will result in low voter turnout, sending a message to the two parties that the American People do not support ANY of their candidates.

2. In some states, the election laws are written such that, if you vote in the primary election, you cannot sign a petition to get American Citizen Party candidates on the ballot for the General Election.  That’s how the laws in Texas are written.  Check the laws in your state to see if they are similar.

Filing deadlines are fast approaching and we’ll need to get mobilized as quickly as possible.  I have no illusions that we will field candidates in all 50 states.  In fact, we may have already missed the filing deadlines in some states.  In that case, we’ll catch them in 2012.

In the next few days, I will issue a “Call For Candidates” and provide a form for you to register to run for public office as an American Citizen Party candidate.  If you have ever thought about serving in Congress, NOW is the time to give it some serious consideration.  When you do, consider these facts:  Here in the United States, free-thinking, freedom-loving citizens outnumber the “Enemies of Freedom” by a 2 to 1 margin and, as of this writing, there are 41 open seats in Congress, just ripe for the picking in November.

When the Democrats and Republicans see an American Citizen Party candidate running against them, with a pledge to vote FOR the Economic Freedom Act, I predict there will be more “retirements” from Congress.

This is a “perfect storm” in which to launch the 21st Century American Revolution.

We WILL take our country back from the “Enemies of Freedom”.
